My Work Experience at European Technical Sales Ltd

My Work Experience at European Technical Sales Ltd

I was welcomed on Monday morning with open arms, and  been included in various activities and conversations, with everyone being very friendly and supportive, and I am very grateful for the positive experience throughout the week.

I have seen how important it is to be proactive and creative when it comes to problem solving and decision making and how important it is to have a strong team dynamic and to work collaboratively.

Developing My Skills

I have developed my skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Publisher, and PowerPoint. I have learned to create spreadsheets, documents and presentations,  Furthermore, I have been able to learn how to use social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn for business. This has allowed me to become more familiar with the different tools and techniques used to create a successful online presence.

In addition to this I’ve attend meetings with their clients to discuss the project and the services that they offer. This has enabled me to understand the client’s needs and how to best meet them. I’ve been able to observe how the team works together to ensure that the project is completed to the highest standard.
This has allowed me to develop my communication skills to ensure that the client is kept up to date with the progress of the project and that any queries or concerns are addressed promptly. Overall, this experience has allowed me to gain an insight into the world of a small business and how to effectively manage projects.

I’ve been given the opportunity to take part in many different projects allowing me to hone my skills in different area as mentioned above. This has been beneficial  to expand my skillset and it has also been a great learning experience.

I have been able to see how they go from an enquiry being sent in to then having to source the part and quote the customer and put it through their accounting system, to then boxing up that order and sending it off to the customer.

Thanks, ETS for having me for work experience.
